No, the Voyager 280 is an unmotorized sailboat, powered only by wind. The Voyager 280 includes a battery-powered two-channel radio-controlled transmitter that controls the rudder and sails. You use the rudder to turn the boat. You use the sail control to move the sail angle in and out to take advantage of the wind based on wind direction and speed. <\/p>\n

No, there is no motor. The Voyager 280 is powered by wind in the sails and controlled by RC which manipulates the sails and the rudder. <\/p>\n

This is done by connecting the battery to a port in the back of the transmitter. Typically takes 15 minutes to charge. <\/p>\n
